Unique places to admire Singapore's beautiful city view! (+ Singapore Flyer review)

We all fall for those expensive tourist traps that offer the best view of a city. Cable cars, sky parks, flyers promise you unforgettable experiences. But the truth is, that it can be rather a costly and disappointing event than something we all desire.
Last week, after a nearly two-year stay in Singapore, I have decided to visit the Singapore Flyer first time. I had already visited Marina Bay Sands Skypark and tried the Cable Car as well, why should we miss the Flyer?! Costly costly, but I heard it offers some exhibition, a rain forest display below and a shopping center as well. Sounds cool! Not like that the real rainforest outside the Downtown were not enough lol.
Got rid of $66 (shocking right?!) for two person's ticket before running through the so-called "Journey of dreams" multimedia show, which somehow was not compelling at all so immediately headed to the main attraction.
Ok, so the 360-degree view from 165 m height is kinda awesome. I liked the Sultan Mosque's sight the best...But the disappointment came right after we reached the "TOP OF THE WORLD" (as they announce), coz' seriously, it seems only 5 minutes at the top and the Ferris wheel starts descending! The journey is over! Let's say, it takes totally about 10 minutes, that's still really slight, right? For $33...
I was not satisfied at all, but I took a short video and some bad quality pictures at least..

You may spot the Sultan Mosque on the right side :)
