Maha Sasana Ramsi Temple is the only Burmese Temple in Singapore. Located at Toa Payoh area, on 14 Tai Gin Road.
It was initially located on Kinta Road, and in 1991 moved to the present location. The main feature of the temple is the 11 foot high Buddha Statue, which is the largest statue outside Myanmar.
The roof of the Golden pagoda can be seen from the Zongshan Park with its beautiful sight, mainly at night!

Buddha's image under a Boddhi Tree symbolizes the scene when Buddha reached Enlightement while meditating under this tree.
The temple is declared as a national heritage site of Singapore. The temple gives home to the annual Water festival (new year celebration) and regular Dharma talks and classes.
Very friendly environment opened to all, every day from 6.30am to 9 pm.
